Sometimes and Always: Fall TV Premiere Edition

Ok so,

Sometimes:  I may schedule on my iphone calendar when a TV movie is coming on so that I don't miss it. (ie. Steel Magnolias remake coming on in October on Lifetime)

Always: The DVR has BEEN set in advance.

Sometimes: I try to watch things like Dancing with the Stars, especially after the host won an Emmy.

Always: I only end up watching it if nothing better comes on. Last night will probably be my only night watching this season.

Speaking of which, Sometimes: Pamela Anderson plays a little too hard on that dumb, sexy blonde character she is playing in real life.

Always: She looks a hot mess.

Sometimes: I get a little too excited for my shows to come back on.

Always: I start screaming "WOO HOO" when their commercials come on television.

Sometimes: My husband hates when I have the remote.

Always: I get him hooked on my favorite shows and not the other way around. (There has been one exception and that was Entourage).

Sometimes: I wonder if the judges on The Voice can hear what we hear through the television. Cause sometimes.. its a ratchet mess!

Always: I wonder if they get super picky about their choices, will they have to go out and invite even more people to audition within that season.

Sometimes: I get intrigued to watch new shows: Guys with Kids, and forget the date they are coming on and miss it completely.

Always: I get excited for the return of Glee and wonder how and who post high school will be making appearances, and still miss the night it airs. I had to catch up via Hulu.

Sometimes: My husband will be more excited for a comeback of a show that I got him hooked on then I am.. (case in point: Castle last night).

Always: He'll run upstairs with snacks and get in a prime position to watch the episode before I do.

Always: We yell stuff like last night watching Castle: "What was in the File that blew up?!" as if they can hear us.

Sometimes: I want I get into shows like Up all Night, and the Office- the last season and Elementary

Always: I know that once Modern Family, Greys Anatomy and Scandal come back they dont have a chance in my live schedule and I hope they fit on my DVR with everything that I have on there taping on thursday nights from WeTV!

Sometimes and Always

Sometimes: I skip Monday Musings because I really don't have many pictures to recap the weekend or did anything special outside of lay in bed and read.

Always: I still thoroughly enjoy my weekend, even if I can't share with you what happened.

Sometimes: I don't feel very well on a Sunday and at times have to "call in sick".

Always: I attend virtually.. its almost like I am there.

Sometimes: I will place my iPad in the nearest bowl for surround sound effect. Who needs to spend money for a holder from the electronic store.

Always: When my husband sees this he shakes his head in disapproval. Its the world's cheapest hands free device.

Sometimes: Even if I bring my lunch to work, I still get caught up in my work that I don't take a break until 2pm.

Always: Regret the fact that I wait until I have a hunger headache before I eat.

Sometimes: I hated that I waited so long to read 50 shades of Grey.

Always: When I think about it, all the obvious overly sexual content aside, it is a page turner of a story. Just like Twilight and my random desire to read them all AFTER all the movies except Breaking Dawn had already been released.

Sometimes: I love going to Potbelly Sandwiches for Lunch

Always: Its never because I think their sandwiches are the best. Its because I love their hot pepper relish. Is it just me?

Sometimes: I get afraid that my 20's are fleeting and will be gone in a few weeks.

Always: I get anxious not knowing what my 30's really will entail.

Sometimes: I love being a Virgo.

Always: I LOVE being a VIRGO!

Sometimes and Always

Sometimes: I want to read 50 Shades of Grey to see what all the hype is about.

Always: I refuse to spend the funds so the only way it will happen will be from a borrowed book. Just not THAT interested.

Sometimes: We go out to support fellow local artists. My Classmate from Baltimore School for the Arts, Anthony Brown & Group Therapy released his first Gospel CD last night. It was amazing.

Always: I feel like the DMV has some of the BEST artists there is and wish that people could see it on a larger scale.

Sometimes: I stand in my house just amazed that it is truly ours and not rented or temporary.

Always: Just reminded of how blessed we really are. We are homeowners and blessed!

Sometimes: You come across other families and their family picture and you think to yourself " What were they thinking?!"

Always: It gives you a GREAT LAUGH! when they clearly weren't thinking at all.

Sometimes: I truly can't stand the smell of cigarettes.

 Always: I believe it stemmed from the fact that my grandmother was a smoker and I couldn't stand it then.

Sometimes: There are just days that my husband will make me laugh non-stop and just be super sweet and the best gentleman I know.

Always: I love him for it all the more.

Sometimes: There are parts of sermons that just hit you the right way that you want to remember them forever.

Always: I put it in a Textgram so that I don't forget it. This is a quote from a prayer in my mom's sermon that she preached on Saturday morning.

Sometimes and Always

Sometimes: This very thought creeps into my mind.

Always: When they blocks on all the fun sites then I just find something else to do in my "down time."

Sometimes: I think about what I am going to eat for lunch on the ride into work.

Always: I wait until the last possible minute where I am starving beyond belief and still don't know what I want.

Sometimes: I wish I could just close my office door and take a full on nap for about an hour!

Always: I really think I can get away with this.. but have not even tried it.

Sometimes: At work we all leave our doors open and yell at each other down the hall.

Always: It makes the day go by faster!

Sometimes and Always

Sometimes: I let my work pile up until the end of the month. Something about filing just does not excite me.

Always: I get started with so much vigor and get a lot of it done and then stop short of completing it and save the rest until next month(s).

Sometimes: Especially this week, I use the olympic coverage as good nap television.

Always: some events put me right to sleep! so I get the best nap that I have had in a long time.

Sometimes: I feel bad for Robin Roberts. This morning her jaw literally locked up on her in the middle of her report and she had to leave off the air in the middle of broadcast.

Always: I pray for her healing as if I know her.

Sometimes: I expect the worst or the same outcome as others because that's all I hear instead of expecting what is for me.

Always: When the worst doesn't happen then I am all the more thankful to God and continue to have my faith stretched for the best!

Sometimes: I am quoted a prescription price over the phone because my great horrible ok insurance decided to cover the procedure but not the medication.

Always: When it gets delivered, its a different price. Best believe I called and fussed galore about that. My file has been notated. LOL

Sometimes: I realize I write more here then I would probably have in a conversation with close friends.

Always: I find that its ok... afterall, I blog about my life and this what its all about.

Sometimes: When I can't make time for a vacation, I line up a day of on demand funny movies.

Always: Laughter is a great remedy for a stress free day!

Sometimes: My husband won't share with the world his accomplishments. I believe it was just how he was raised.

Always: I am wifely proud of his accomplishments so I tell the world for him!

So... my Husband the musician, is a songwriter and has gotten even more placements.. Not only will he have a song on Jonathan Nelson's latest record "Finish Strong" to be released later, he will have songs on Shekinah Glory Ministries upcoming album, a song entitled "Without You" and possible placement on Tye Tribbett's upcoming CD! GO HUBBY! Your wife is indeed PROUD OF YOU! and this is all within one year!

Sometimes and Always

Sometimes: I don't how to start this type of post off...

Always: Something reminds me of things that I meant to say

Sometimes: I get super irritated when people waste my time and are late!

Always: I am late. LOL.

Sometimes: It irritates me with a passion when they cut things from the work computer. No more GChat, Pandora Radio, now no more YouTube because our Flash Player is gone!

Always: I try to negotiate with IT as to WHY I need such things in my life, which of course are all distractions from my job but, that's how I work more effectively. It's just me? ok.

Sometimes: I forget that I didn't put the umbrella back in my car when I come to work.

Always: I pray to the Lord above that all precipitation has come and gone by the time I get off. So far so good.

Sometimes: I wish I could go back to when I did not have a care in the world versus when I was trying to become grown so quickly.

Always: Thankful I can see the world through the eyes of the babies around me... it's the next best thing.

Sometimes: Men are allowed at Baby Showers

Always: We make sure to embarass them further by dressing them in toilet paper baby outfits rather than let them sit there and be their being uncomfortable selves at a baby shower... I have to admit I cry laughing at such things EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Sometimes: I enjoy my job. It brings me great pleasure to help persons rehabilitate their lives while being on Parole or Probation.

Always: I get so tickled when the ones who think they are above the law, sit at this desk and cry like children. I am talking full blown, can't catch a breath cry. I know I am wrong for laughing but I just can't help it.

Sometimes: Food is just to good looking to dive right in, so I take a picture of it.

Always: I wonder what would I do without Instagram and wish I had it back in High School (you know.. in the olden days of the 90's). Oh the things that would've been caught on my phone and put online for all to see. LOL.

Sometimes: I forget to set my alarm clock.

Always: I wake up in a panicked bad mood because I am now late or have missed that thing I was supposed to do earlier that morning before work.

Sometimes: Hubby will surprise me with things like washing the sheets to make sure they smell great!

Always: I am so grateful and want to hop right in the bed as soon as he makes it.

Sometimes: I wonder if blog readers who arrive via link parties ever click the home page to see what else I talk about.

Always: Grateful if you do and comment... it helps me find your blog too.

This Sometimes & Always will be a recap of sorts...

Sometimes: The best times had are those that are unplanned.

Always: It ends up being one of those nights you won't ever forget...

I had planned to surprise Hubby with tickets to see Coldplay and he suggested that we stop at Matchbox Restaurant before we go... while there we ran into a group of our closest friends.. it was almost as if it were planned but it was not.

Sometimes: They hand out free things at the door that you think will be cheesy.

Always: It ends up being the coolest thing you have ever seen!

Sometimes: When you buy your tickets online you wonder if there good seats after all.

Always: Seats matter none in the Verizon Center.. Every seat is a good seat!

Sometimes: Concerts are about the music.

Always: Its ten times better when the artist take into consideration the total experience of the concert goer. These lighted bracelets made my NIGHT!

Sometimes: The seats in the Verizon Center are too close together.

Always: Its so much better to just dance the concert away anways!

Sometimes: I go to concerts just because my husband loves the artist.

Always: Its always a great experience because he is there!

and lastly, a few that are off the topic, but a recap of yesterday...

Sometimes: You take every test there is in the world to figure out why you can't conceive

Always: We breathe easily when you hear there is nothing actually wrong with either one of you..

Sometimes: Pregnancies are accidents or planned

Always: Children are considered gifts from God.

Sometimes: I hint about us planning to get pregnant soon.

Always: When that time comes, you'll know...

 

Sometimes and Always

Sometimes: I know a huge trip is coming up and know that I need to get to packing for.

Always: I wait until the last minute and end up just shoving things in my suitcase that I may not even need.

Sometimes: My offenders show up to my office unannounced.

Always: I get irritated when they do.

Sometimes: I imagine myself doing a different job

Always: I am SO thankful that I do what I do and know that it's exactly where I am supposed to be.

Sometimes: I give my husband a hard time for being super mushy and smothering.

Always: I am thankful that my husband loves me that much because I could be married to a jerk.

Sometimes: I ask for persons to guest blog while I am away on conference and vacation.

Always:  I get some great responses.

Sometimes: My allergies get the best of me... like TODAY!
Always: I want to put in sick leave and go home and lay down.

Sometimes: You know there isn't a great picture that you have taken over the week that you can post.

Always: There is one that you come across that you can post for good measure that expresses how you feel.
